MAINLAND - DENVER

Denver Aug 9-13th

            We arrived in Denver Friday afternoon and stayed with good friend, Therese; another fabulous B&B.

Our main agenda was to pick up our new (old) pick up truck – one we were borrowing for the duration, and to buy provisions for the cabin.  Once we had the truck and were somewhat ready for our adventure, we went to dinner at my favorite Denver restaurant, Le Central for mussels and then to Lincoln Roadhouse for some blues with Maynard Mills.

            My niece Jackie and I went hunting down the old family homes in Denver, my side and hers.  Went to her house fordinner and caught up with her family – a great outdoors trout bbq.  Gil and I did our humongous shopping, took a breather at the Ale House and saw the movie Reds 2 with Therese.  Off in the new truck by noon on the 13^th.
